The most cosmopolitan street in Newcastle is lined with great fashion boutiques such as High Tea with Mrs Woo and Ramjets as well as the kooky Blackbird corner. Goldberg’s café does a mean cappuccino enjoyed under chandeliers and a bar papered with vintage 1950s ads. Grab quick decent meals like warm duck salad with an equally decent glass of wine from a list of top drops. Down the street is The Kitchen café serving chocolate-dipped strawberries in a fondue and great hot salads topped with lamb and pumpkin.
